Managing upgrade to Windows 10

I just got a new desktop and am debating pci vs. USB wireless connection. Several rooms away from router. Pci is usually stronger but which one will get better upgrade when switching to Win 10?

Not much difference. Can you move it next to the router temporarily to use the wired connection?
