[SOLVED] Manual Backup only. NO SCHEDULE!!

Hi all. This may seem whimsical but choice is the word mum! I have a new 3TB HDD I intend to use as a backup. I wanted to use the windows 10 back up utility but i do not want to set it to automatic. Problem is the "back up now" button is greyed out if you turn auto backup off! I do not intend to keep the drive plugged so would like to plug in and backup when it is convenient for me. With auto backup enable you will notice that the biggest gap in time you can set is daily, that said, if I plug my HDD in at any time after that 'daily' time has passed im afraid it will start backing as soon as I plug it in. I don't necessarily 'not' like this but I would feel better knowing that I have initiated the process and can unplug when done. Does anyone agree or have any workarounds. Thanks

Use a different tool.
I use Macrium Reflect exclusively for this. It gives you MUCH more control over when, what, and how.
