[SOLVED] Manual Sync Push on Google Drive ?

Hi,
I've a a folder of few GBs, I have synced it to Google Drive, but when I change a file it automatically updates the cloud & changes the file. I want to sync it manually only when I want to. Like If I change something accidently it will be synced on Cloud too I want to avoid scenario like that.

So my question is: Is it possible to only update Synced files/folders on Google Drive when I want to?

well u get some random harddrive/usb stick, u put those files there

Kinda good but what if I want to have cloud backup. I mean the feature im asking isnt there way to achieve it?

Don't save this data to the folder synced with googledrive.
When you DO want it in "the cloud", move it to that sync place.

u can try google vault, its 18$/month but it works like archive, so u can get to older file versions

Actually I'm working on a project I want to check if everythings okay before syncing it again to the drive? If I close the Google Drive Client so it wont sync by itself & then opening it again when I want to sync will this work? Yes thats a good advice but I want to do it for free. I dont need the archive system (ability to recover old files). I just want it to sync only when I want to.
