how do i manually delete a restore point?
it's located on my external hard drive. i found it by viewing the report of a recent defrag analysis. i think it's '\system volume information\_restore-etc.'
i've tried the disk cleanup option. i've tried shutdowning down the service. i think that restore point or points were from a previous install of win xp, so now after a reformat, whatever i do to the recent install of win xp, it has no effect.
if no solutions, i will get rid of it, even if i have to resort to backing everything up to another drive and reformatting...
edit: why the hell is system restore even set to backup other drives other than the main one? also, i always have system restore off. that restore point must have been create when i connected my external hd after fresh install before i had the chance to turn that crap off.
