Greetings,
I have read many threads telling me I had made the wrong choice when getting 2 memory kits instead of 1.
What does someone do once they are already in this situation?
Everything is fine without XMP enabled, enabling causes boot failure as discovered in many other posts.
What is the method used and what settings would I need to manually overclock to the XMP speed?
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me out.
My specs are as follows :
RAM : G.Skill F4-3866C18D-16GTZR (2 of these kits)
CPU : 7700K
MOBO : Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 9 Z270X
Sorry for any noobery, this be my first post
Update :
There was an issue (RGB related) with one of the kits and it had to be RMA'd.
I will post the results from the supplied answers (many thanks btw) as soon as I have all my sticks again
Update :
During RMA I managed to refund the other kit as well. Both were replaced with a single, 4 stick kit.
Thank you all for your efforts. I hope someone can use the information you provided.
