Many (15+) rapid beeps on startup after changing gpu.

Just installed a new graphics card. Black screen and Rapid beeping (many... like 20) on startup then shutdown. Keeps looping until I manually turn off power. Tried removing ram and reseating, using 1 ram stick, no ram - all give the same issue. I'm about to put in the old gpu and see if I got a junk gpu, but I doubt that's the case. Anything else I can try?

Sounds like something is shorted. I wouldn't "doubt" anything when it comes to hardware. I see about a hundred cases per week, myself, here, where people get DOA hardware right out of the box, brand new. Try the other card.

What are the exact models of the old and new graphics cards?

What is the model of your motherboard and what bios version is installed?

What is the EXACT model number and brand of your power supply?
