Hey guys, I'm having a super hard time figuring out if this RAM will be good enough. I've seen the same (I think) RAM for $400 more, so is this cheap stuff? Also, how is the motherboard? Is a 1680x1050 resolution little in comparison with such a graphics card? Are there any other brands in GPU's I should look at besides BFG? Finally, will this all fit into the case I've picked out and still have good air flow?

Just my two cents, but id investigate a cheaper i7/mobo combo on ewiz.com. Maybe a board from Asus or Gigabyte, then put the money towards a gtx275.

The components you have chosen are pretty good...And the graphics card would be apt for that resolution...
And no problems with the RAM...The costlier ones are generally for the enthusiast crowd, who would want to push their h/w to the limit...
And the RAM that you have chosen are very good mainstream products...
Another good alternative...
G.SKILL F3-12800CL8T-6GBPI PC3-12800 6GB 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL8-8-8-21

you ca also go with the evga e758tr it $50 cheaper and the only thing that's different is the warranty. the a1 has a lifetime warranty and the tr has a 2 year. i personally have the evga e758tr motherboard and it's great. very easy to overclock and great support from evga.
