Many horizontal lines on desktop monitor

I have many horizontal 1 pixel wide covering my desktop monitor but not enough to where its not possible to see....I came home and as soon as I booted up my pc they just appeared and also the resolution has changed and I'm not able to change it back to its native.?!?!?! help plz!

Also under device status of my graphics card its saying "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"
