marantz cd 63se (after long period of no-use) sometimes recognize and sometimew not the same disk . why ?

You could try using a laser cleaner since the unit has been unused in such a long time and may have accumulated an unusual amount of dust. The laser itself can be on its' last legs given the age of the unit.

that was the solution
not a laser cleaner (didn;t worked) but i opened the unit ant cleaned the laser with a cotton stick.
