well in 26 years of gaming and pro painting I have always and I mean ALWAYS
hated the time it takes to highlight marine armour...........

However............. if you want fast marines, go to your local car spares
store and look at the metallics and more importantly PEARLESCENTS.

You can simply spray the models and then paint the detail areas (ie : non
armour) as normal and the finished result is WOW.... the pearlescents y'see
reflect light amazingly.

I am just painting a Hawklords chapter using 'Rover Amaranth' pearlescent
and its looking great.

Black templars in a pearlescent black look superb and Ultramarines in Subaru
Blue are also VERY effective.

My gaming partner has used similar processes on his WHFB Chaos warriors and
the effect again is quite stunning.
