Mark read

When I finish reading a forum I click on the mark read button.

This seems to take much longer to complete than in the past.

It does not matter which forum.

Maybe I'm just imagining things.

I just tried it on my system, and the 'MARK READ' function/button works properly, imo. It did not take much time for the changes to reflect on my Forum account (the red color icon changes to grey). Which web browser are you using ?

Maybe try clearing the cache/cookies of your web browser ?

Using FF.

Clearing cache/cookies has no affect.

The function works it just seems to have a little delay now.

Perhaps nitpicking about nothing.

its a weekend, you lucky forums haven't fallen over... though that hasn't happened as much on the new software.

I don't use the command so no idea.
I expect there are too many now for me to use it as it would time out, like other menus that don't work... I have said too much... runs away

I haven't experienced any forum downtime or slowdown even in Weekend days though. Sometimes the forums are a bit slow, but for the most part it is normal.

The problem has vanished.

Wonder if the M's did their magic.
