[SOLVED] Mass Effect 2 pushing CPU to 100%

For some reason, Mass Effect 2 is pushing my i7-3770 @3,4GHz to 100%. It drops immediately after tabbing out. I have completed the game around 30 times on 3 different PC's without getting this, any suggestions?

What's the GPU usage? Also, what are the temps for both CPU and GPU?

GPU (GTX 970) is at 45°C, CPU at 55-60°. GPU usage is 30%.

Temps are good and that cpu+gpu combo is more than enough for ME2. I guess it has to do something with the background programs. Maybe it's a virus. Maybe not relevant, but if the game is installed on a hard drive it's time to do some defragmentation.
