MASSIVE fps drop in bf3

Since about a week or two ago, my bf3 hasnt been running right. First it would't even connect to the servers, it would just load a white or black screen and then go unresponding. Now i can sometimes get into the game, but it runs at about 4 fps on whichever settings i set them to. I've tried reinstalling the game, repairing it via origin, wiping and installing new drivers, defragging my HDD. Nothing works, before i would get 60+ on ultra. Any suggestions?

PC Specs: intel i5 3570k, 8gb ram, AMD Radeon 7970 Ghz edition

have u tried beating the shit out of ur processor ?? try it.. it helped me..
