Question Massive frame drop on ssd

Hi I have recently upgraded to an ssd but seem to get alot of frame rate drop I've changed to ahci mode I've reinstalled windows with out the old drive installed but still the same problem, I've used to Windows monitor an it shows my cpu drop to the 20% use an then back to normal when my frames drop.
My pc spec is
Fx8350
Nvidia gtx 1060 6gb
Corsair vengeance 16gig ddr3 1600mhz
Crucial ssd
Corsair vs650 psu
