Massive Frame drop when recording

So i have a FX-8350 and a GTX 660TI, i get anywere from 120-400 fps on minecraft but when i recored it drops and never passes 40, dxtory is what im using, also when recording wih fraps it justs lags (i get alot of mouse input lag and somtimes the screen freezes)

yea but to upgrade is like a 500$ thing, gotta change motherboard and buy a decent cpu, dont got that kinda cash, i dont get frame drops unless im recording , didnt mean to pick an awnser, still need help

Are the drivers all updated? I have a feeling that something is using up all ur ram, and thats why u notice the significant decrease in fps.

yea my ram is going nuts, im barely doing anything and have like 3gb / 8 usage

Got to Task Manager>Processes and check what its using so much RAM.
