I've been getting annoying frame drops on league of legends. I usually get around 150 fps when I play but half way into the game I start dropping down to 20 fps randomly. I've lowered the graphics but that still doesn't change anything.
Computer Specs:
GTX 560 TI Directcu II - Video Card
AMD FX-6300 - Processor
12 Gb DDR3(1333Mhz) - Ram

Hmmm, Ultra is not known for quality, though I'd expect instability from bad power, not slowdowns.
I'd advise replacing it on general principle, but it is probably not related to the specific problems you are having now.
If you have overclocked anything, return to stock settings.
To help figure out if it is an overheating problem, take the side of your case off and point a common household fan into your PC while you play. If you no longer get the slowdowns, then something is indeed overheating, and it will just take a little more effort to figure out what that is.
Sudden throttling like that may indicate an overheating problem. What are your CPU and GPU temperatures? What is your motherboard, and also the brand and model (not just wattage) of your PSU?
If this has only started happening recently, use a can of compressed air (NOT a vacuum cleaner, which creates destructive static) to clean out the heat sinks on your CPU and graphics card. Make sure all fans are running.

The temperature of my gpu is around 40-50 degrees when I play league of legends, when I'm not its around 30. My fans are all working. I have a msi 760g-p23 motherboard. I have a 550 watts on my power supply.
