I recently had to replace my gtx 980 as it started having issues and not functioning and windows started giving me error 43. I purchased a cheap HD7870 as a temp card, just until nvidia bring out their new cards, so I could spend my money then. The seller said the card only saw light use, and I believe him as it was in immaculate condition and had 1500+ (100%) feedback on eBay.
I've uploaded all of the unusual readings from both gpu-z and hwmonitor (I've also attached the screenshot of the activity that the card is showing in idle). It seems as if my card is being used, especially the vram even when in idle state (all screenshots are from idle state). I've scanned for viruses and everything has come back clean. The biggest worry is the 12v on gpuz, showing as 13.5+!!! Which is incredibly high. I've compared the 12v of the vram with the one show from the motherboard. The motherboards one seems absolutely fine. I would just think this to be a faulty card, but it's just very coincidental.
Sorry if I didn't explain this well, I'm not too savvy on gpu's. Would really appreciate any replies, I can't keep replacing gfx cards.

-Ripjaws V Vengeance DDR4 8gb (OC 2400ghz, 1.25v)
-EVGA 600w 80+ White Rated
-Msi B350m Mortar
-HD 7870 PowerColor PCS + MYST Graphics Card
All components were purchased at the same time which was around 6 months ago (Excluding the gfx card)
