Massive left arm pain

Hey guys so i recently got a new chair and ive been havin massive left arm pain i use my left arm on my keyboard and i can only game for about 10 mins without it starting to pain.My mouse arm is okay nothing wrong and this chair is a 150 euro chair its leather with arm rests.Its been really frustrating me and just straight up ruining my gaming experience could it be to poor keyboard place ment or maybe my desk ?

arm should be in a 90 degree angle. Try lowering the arm rest so your arm doesn't touch it. You might have strained a muscle. It still pain, you might want to see a doctor about it.

i have the heel of my hand rest on the desk just in front of my keyboard i find it takes the strain off my left arm

though have big hands so can still type/use keys in games like that ok

Massive left arm pain sounds like a reason to visit the cardiologist to me. Hopefully it's just tendonitis or something but get it checked out.

how different is the new chair from the old one

ie higher lower sitting further back etc

The new chair is a leather chair with armrests that goes further back and a bit higher up then the lastone

I don't think you should worry about any cardiac issue for this ^^
If it was, you'd have been in hospital sooner than this. Arm pain in cardiac issue is the last signal, not the first, and it doesn't come alone.

What kind of pain do you feel ? is it like a "bone pain" that you feel only when your arm is on the armrest ?
Which part of your arm is in pain ? close to the wrist ? or more to the elbow ?
Is there a position on the armrest where you feel less pain ? (sorry for the poor language here) did you try to keep your arm on the armrest and move your hand to the left and to the right ? (i mean internal and external rotation)
do you use this arm for any sport or physical activity ?

well it feels kinda like a muscle pain not a bone i doubht it it feels like when you leave your hand out for very long or if u are lifting weights and ur upper shoulder starts paining its not major pain but it gets kinda annoying when im playing tera or cs go

sounds like its the posture the new chair is placing you in

try moving chair closer or further away--up/down etc

see if you can find a position that doesnt cause the pain

it could be poor keyboard placement or still you didnt set the chair properly. spend time to check the desired parameters of the chair to suit your stature.

Do go and get it checked out ... I had something similar with my right elbow and it was due to FREELANCER addiction ... I am a mad mouser in battles ... had to cut back on my gaming and put hirudoid cream on my elbow and rest it for a couple of weeks.

Seriously.

Also ... check the height of your chair is not placing excess pressure on your arm ... check one of those ergonomic sites for posture on the PC.
