Hi! So about a week or so ago, I had an issue with my PC where every time I booted it up it beeped 6 times indicating a "video card error" I wasn't really surprised by this as it happens alot when I forget to update my drivers; when the computer finally booted up it stated that "The previous overclocking has failed and PressF1 to run setup or PressF2 to revert to default and run setup" back then I misaimed and hit F2, my computer started up but when it did... the resolution was like 680x700 and everything was black and white, I messed around with the setting on windows 10 but nothing worked... resolution was locked, color wouldn't show no matter what. After awhile of tinkering I restarted my PC and pressed F12 in order to open up BIOS setup, I couldn't find anything that seemed off so I exited without saving and tada; my computer magicly fixed it self, the resolution is back to normal, colors restored. I've recently encountered this problem again but instead of pressing F2... I pressed F1 my computer booted windows up and I had that same problem with the resolution and black and white screen, like last time I headed to the bios to try see if anything looked different but nope! Nothing seemed to chave changed, I exited the Bios configuration and unlike last time... once windows booted up it was still in a 680x700 resolution and still black and white...

Please help.

When trying to trouble shoot something like this, telling us what is your hardware make and models is most useful, such a cpu, power supply, motherboard and video card.
Also if you have indeed overclocked something (cpu or video card) indicate method and what settings you have them to. are you using MSI afterburner? some other program to oc your cpu/video card... details are the essence to the issue.

From your information given I feel your video card may be a problem here and its taking out your cpu for a ride.

Get your system working normal before messing with OC'
Clear the overclocking from CPU, (pull power cord from pc, pop the battery from the main board, wait 2-3 mins, reinstall, power up, the bios settings should be back...

Assuming MIS afterburner for your video card overclocking. and reset to defaults of the video card.
