Massive spikes Wifi

Hello , straight to the problem ... there are around 3 laptops and some phones connect to the modem in this house ..but my laptop is the only one that has lag spikes in the games ... from 30 ping goes straight to 300 .. any clue what the problem is ? I Run a I7 HP with windows 7 home premium

sounds like an issue with your wifi adapter

I was referring to the laptop's wifi adapter.

its working on other wifi networks so I guess its a matter of being compatible

any Idea ? still having the problem , so far only in games i ve noticed any way to detect whats happening ?
If I am watching the resource monitor on the network segment I see an increase in the network activity from 100 to 500 every spike
