Hi I want to build a massive storage pc to keep all my movies, series and games. I'll need 20Tb to start but I need a configuration that allow me to add more storage in the future. I'll appreciate any advice in hardware as and in configuration (to use RAID or not). I will use windows 7 system and will be copying the info constantly to all kind of usb devices so will need as much usb ports as possible. Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

Solution
Skylake, significantly less then $800. CPU power is not of huge concern when building a NAS. No discrete graphics card is needed. Things you could improve would be a more expensive case to suit your appearance preferences. Larger SSD.

CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor ($124.89 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: ASRock Z170A-X1/3.1 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($102.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($53.99 @ Newegg)

Case: Antec NSK4100 ATX Mid Tower Case ($41.99 @...
May be you after the NAS type storage.. I have a ReadyNas (small one).. does the job and depending on which you go for - can manage storage sizes up to over a hundred TB.. and has RAId and other options
http://support.netgear.com/product/ReadyNAS-OS6
(check the "ReadyNas 300/500/700..." data sheet for spec options.)
There are other suppliers.. may be more modern with better options.. but at least will give you a feel for options.
HTH
Cheers
