Hello all, I have a few problems that mostly have to do with my two Asus GTX680-DC2-4GD5:
1) I have been playing with SLI disabled and every once in a while, usually when I am playing a game (such as Payday 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends) I get a massive tearing issue that usually starts at the top left corner of my screen. When the tearing randomly appears, it will continue onto the desktop even if I close the game. The only way to remove the tearing is by restarting my computer.
I am not sure why this is happening and it does not always happen. At first I assumed it was because my gpu was overheating, but my friend suggested that I turn off vsync for all my games, since I do enable it. I have tried reinstalling the drivers with a clean install, yet this problem still occurs. My drivers are Nvidia's 340.52 drivers and I try to keep them updated.
When my gpu is idle, its around 40 degrees (Celsius) but when it is in game, it can go anywhere from 65-70 degrees. In the 1-2 sessions that I've played with Vsync off, its actually increased to 82 degrees, but I need to keep an eye on this more.

I recently started to run all of my games without vsync, but if someone has had the same problem, id greatly appreciate your advice! I was just really concerned about having a bad card. Will disabling vsync solve my problem? Also are my Gpu temperatures a concern?
2) Normally when I try to enable SLI, my games will flicker constantly, around 2-3 times per second, as if it were trying to induce a seizure (with my vsync on), yet it will still continue working. Or just flicker about once or twice, the screen then goes blank and the game becomes unresponsive (with vysnc off). I have tried putting the bridge on both fingers and in every orientation possible, but I get the same empty results. I was thinking that the SLI bridge might be faulty, but is there a setting that I might have missed?
3) While trying to troubleshoot my SLI problems, I have constantly enabled and disabled the SLI setting. I have noticed that if I do it too much, then my computer freezes and I would need to restart before I can change any SLI setting again. Is this normal? I would assume that I can just change my SLI settings at will, without a restart.
My specs are:
Intel i7 3930K
32 GB DDR3
Asus P9X79 Pro Motherboard
Antec 1200W Power Supply
2x Asus GTX680-DC2-4GD5
1x SSD (Main)
2x Regular HDD (storage)
Windows 7 64-bit
Sorry for the long post!! I have tried to solve my problems with no luck. Any help is appreciated. Thank You!!
