massively underperforming gpu

my gtx 1050 is dramatically under performing im pulling around 40-50 fps in tf2, black mesa, l4d2, and fistful of frags (high) and around 30-50 in killing floor 2 and payday 2 (high) when the benchmarks ive seen say i should be getting triple those
things i have already tried: changing nvidia control panel settings, Re installing windows, and messing around with bios options
i have single slot 8gb ddr3 ram and an A10 7870k apu
this has been going on for a few weeks and i am very desperate for help

Are you connected to the 1050 rather than the motherboard?
