matching 2 sets of ram

Right now I have 8 gb of ram and I want to upgrade to 16.
Currently i have installed CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 .
The issue I have is that this RAM is not sold on my country anymore.
my Mobo is GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SLI,its dual channel.
im afraid to order something off newegg and find out that its not compatible with my Ram.

You are right. Mixing two sticks is never guaranteed to work, even if they were identical. Safest way is to sell your current ram and get a 16 Gb kit.

ADDING memory IS HIT AND MISS even if it was identical. Get a new 2x8 set.
