Hello,
Needed a set-up with 4-6 displays so I got a Matrox C680 graphics card. Installed correctly and downloaded all necessary drivers and software. Hooked up the monitors and the card recognizes that they are there.
However, I can only get output on two monitors at a time. Any two monitors, connected to any 2 of the 6 Mini Display Ports. As soon as I try adding a third (or fourth, or fifth) monitor, the Matrox PowerDesk freezes/crashes on me.
Same thing happens if I try adding a third monitor through "Change Display Settings": the computer clearly knows there is a third monitor display connected but doesn't met me extend the desktop to it. When I try that, I get the error message "Unable to save display settings".
It's a new PC, it has never had another video card (except the onboard one). I am pretty sure there are no old drivers left behind to mess with anything.
Any ideas what I can try? Anybody else have the same issues with it?
Thanks a lot!
