Ok, well here I go again. It looks like these days more and more "super" cards are being announced. <A HREF="http://www.reactorcritical.com/#l1119" target="_new">Here</A> and <A HREF="http://www.reactorcritical.com/#l1116" target="_new">here</A> are some info from reactorcritical.com I'm not sure how reliable they though. Looks like both of these will be in the same market which is kinda weird. You usually don't want to compete with yourself. They will also probably be competing against the P10. Looks like both of these cards will use 256bit DDR bus, so I guess the P10 wont be all powerful. I really doubt that these cards will make much of a diffence in our market since they will be prices so high. Anyways, the specs of NV30/R300 don't look bad at all, and since they'll be quite a bit cheaper, I don't think P10/G1000/Parhelia 512 will make much of a dent in our market. Maybe for pros who have bottomless pockets, but not for me.

Well, looks like P10/G1000/Parhelia 512 will be a bit out of your ballpark, eh? I'm still waiting for NV30/R300. Hopefully they'll perform well.

Damn, so many new cards, this is very exciting!! Can't wait to see how they all perform against each other (and the GF/Quadro 5 and R300). The winner gets a nice home in my AGP slot, regardless of price.

I thought the Mid-range Workstation 64mb Oxygen card based on the p10 is gonna be around $600 and the 128mb one $800. Wouldn't that mean the mainstream cards released by creative labs are gonna be somewhere around $400?

I think they are gonna be extremely competitive against the GeForce4 series and the next ATI card. Are they gonna release anything before the R300?
