Ok, enough of the rehashing old informaiton. We've all talked way to much about wether or not ATI and their poor driver support is better than the GeForce 2. Obvisouly we all know that the GeForce 3 is the King of the hill right now but how about a new thread.
Does anyone have any info on what the sleeping Giant Matrox is up to? Will they release a new card at Cebit? What are the specs? Will it cause the enormous amounts of orgasmic excitment that we all crave. Someone please feed the beast with some new tantilizing info.

I heard that they will have G800 on store shelves by Q3 2001. It will support t&l and probably run a 200/200 or a 300/300 spec. There will be DualHead as usal

I don't think so. Last I heard it wasn't even in Beta yet. I think it's going to use AGP 8x even.

The "sleeping giant" (as you put it) knows that you can't buy a better 2D (higher image-quality) card than the G400/450's, unless you are ready to spend big bucks, and they seem quite content selling into that market!
