which do you think is better for games? i havent heard much about the Matrox..... couldnt find much info either....

Maybe not that many people use these cards. Just a thought. I think that most Matrox cards are for workstations, or mainly for 2D work. Maybe try and find some reviews of either card.

Simple... The GeForce256 obviously. Beware though, this card is powerhungry (power as in electricity). some have been known to gobble up 18watts. So, some of the early agp motherboards (socket7 mostly) do not support this card properly.
