Okay so, recently I've been having trouble trying to install Sims 3, and I've been given cyclic redundancy check error and I/O Device error (mainy CRC). My DVD drive downloaded SIms 2 well so I know it's able to read the DVDs. I have a feeling I should see if it needs any updates, but then it said its uptodate. I don't believe that, since the DVD date says 2006 lol. So, I'm wondering if there's any firmware update for it to see if it helps. if you have other smooth ways to bypass this error, please share!
