Matshita uj-840d -unblocking dvd region

Hello,

The DVD region on my laptop is set as region 3 :S and cant change it anymore. I would like to unblock this, doesnt anyone know how i can do this?

There's a limit on the number of times you can reset region (Matshita knuckling down to Hollywood's robber barons).

I would guess -- and it is a guess -- that reflashing the drive with the same or later firmware might clear any record of previous region changes. Go to Matshita (National Panasonic/Matsushita I assume) support site and download the firmware and flasher program.

Follow instruction carefully to avoid bricking your drive.
