MATX to ATX

I currently have an MATX motherboard and want to upgrade to ATX, but I am not sure if It would fit into my tower.
How much bigger is the ATX compared to the MATX?

MicroATX can be anywhere from 171x171mm (6.7x6.7in) to 244x244mm (9.6x9.6in), ATX is 305x244mm (12.0x9.6in). What tower do you have? If it only has four expansion slots at the back, it won't fit an ATX board (which needs at least 7).
