Max 4 was to PC, now to my MAC - Now what do I do?

My Maxtor 4 was for my old PC. Now I just attached to my Mac. What do I need to do now?
If download drive, how? Do I need to find the disk that came with it 10 years ago? Thank you.

You need to initialize and format it on Mac OS to be able to use it.
