Thanks for this. I just read on a forum that someone suggest a 7870 for this apu, hope somebody would comment if it really is possible.

Any current GPU would be fine. You will get a lot of panic merchants that try and tell you your processor won't be able to handle card X; don't listen to them. The 6800k is good enough to handle any single gpu on the market today. So long as you have a decent power supply of the proper rating, take your pick of cards and enjoy.
