Max memory on celerons

Did anyone use more than 16GB ram on Intel Celeron Processors family? Regarding to the specs, it's not possible - http://ark.intel.com/products/78867/Intel-Celeron-Processor-J1900-2M-Cache-up-to-2_42-GHz That particular CPU is just an example, any Celeron is ok. Basically its a question if those accept larger than 8GB modules. Thanks.

Not all Celerons are the same. The "J" Celerons are based on Intel's low power Atom cores, and will definitely not work with more than 8GB of RAM. Not that it matters - Atom-based CPUs are so slow that you're not likely to be able to use more than 8gb of RAM before the CPU chokes.

The "G" Celerons (ex G3900) use the same cores as Intel's Core i3/i5/i7 CPUs and thus support the same memory configurations. These chips are very significantly faster.
