max ram frequency

i've got an old PC sitting around
P4 1.6Ghz Willamette 256kB Cache
256Mb Transcend PC133
256Mb Corsair PC133 (NOT dual channel)

as my motherboard has extremly limited o'cing features(fsb adjustments only), what would be the highest thre PC133 ram would go before becoming unstable?

Especially since the ram sticks aren't matching, they may not overclock at all. If they do, I'd expect it to be a very minor overclock at best.

Yeah... maybe 10mhz MAX. I'd guess around 5mhz. Those old SDRAM chips never overclocked well.

i got to about 141 mhz for the pc133 ram and 1.7ghz for the cpu

the limiting factor here is the pci bus which cant be locked, the pci cards and hdds get unstable i/o errors if i go further

Wasn't those chip based on RDRam? So you would need a rise/converter?

Just asking so far away and never touched a P4 before the northwoods A...
