Max RAM support

Hello guys, I have a little problem. My friend gave me motherboard MSI K9N6SGM-V with Athlon 64 x2 3800+. The problem is that on page it says it supports maximum of 2 gigabytes of RAM. But some people say that they can run 4 gigs. I would like to know if it will be possible with this motherboard and CPU.

I have read memory support list and it says it can support two 2GB memory in 2 slots. I think I will borrow rams from my friend for a sec and try it if it works. I hope it will. Anyways thanks for help.
