max refresh rate

how do i check the MAX refresh rate that my monitor can use?? in nvidia control panel , the refresh rate is...unlimited so im afraid i might screw something up.......

specs :
CPU : Intel i5 4690 3.5Ghz
Ram : Kingston Hyper X Fury 2x4 GB 1600Mhz
GPU : MSi GTX980 GAMING 4G
Monitor : Asus LED 21.5'' VX228H 1920x1080

Strange, I've never seen that before. You probably have monitor overclocking on or something like that.

60hz is the max refresh rate for that monitor.

your monitor will be 60Hz @ 1920x1080 resolution. the 75Hz setting is for 1280X720 resolution.

Go download the manual for that display from the website of the company whose name is on the front of that thing. Model number is on the back. Find that companies webpage for that model of display, and then there should be either a SUPPORT page or a DOWNLOADS page, and the manuals in PDF format should be there.
