[SOLVED] Max safe temp on e5 1650 (3930k)

Just wondering what the max safe load temp for a xeon e5 1650 cpu should be on a non 24/7 overclock. Right now when gaming it maxes at almost 80c and in a cinebench run the hottest core stays under 80c. Running a hyper 212 evo. Thanks for all imput.

80°C seems unconfortably hot in game. Then again 212 evo is not an adequate cooler for 6 core CPU IMHO. What volatage and frequency are you applying? Is your cooler properly seated and TIM properly applied? I am not sure what are expected temps for this cooler on a 3930k but I sure wouldn't be OK with 80° in game.

voltage is 1.2 and frequency is 4.2. just reseated cooler and reapplied paste. under aida64 none of the cores hit over 70, but in bf1 riva tuner shows cou temps near 80.
