Question Max shared memory for Athlon 3000G

Hi guys, I got a sweet deal today on a complete system, which includes a brand new Athlon 3000G. I wanted to ask if anyone knows what the maximum shared system memory for the iGPU?

I believe it was 2GB but Im not quite sure.

Theoretically there is no hard cap.

Most motherboards allow you to allocate 2gb to the integrated graphics, however I believe some Asus models allow 3gb.

It doesn't matter. You can set it to 64MB and the drivers will allocate however much additional memory the IGP needs from the system memory pool. Setting reserved memory size from BIOS is only required to trick applications that do a check for dedicated IGP memory instead of total available GPU memory which would include up to half of system memory. Performance-wise, it makes no difference whatsoever since it is all system memory either way.

Thank you both. Yeah I know the video memory allocation is "dynamic", just wanted to know if there was some kind of cap.
