I have the Stream 7 that has Windows 8.1 with Bing and my question is that can this tablet read a fast Micro SD card like the Extreme from Sandisk? If not then I should just get a 128gb Ultra Plus to save money. I seen a YouTube video of someone testing this tablet and they said no point of using fast Micro SD card and to use a normal Micro SD card like Sandisk Ultra Plus.

You know whats odd about your question, if someone said that on youtube with video proof.
Then another person told you on hp forums its not worth wasting money on sandisk extreme sd card.

Two people in different parts of the world agreeing on a question you are asking.
It would make me purchase a good sandisk 128gb sd card on sale at the pharmacy and be done for the day.

If they don't know how to answer your question or refused to answer your question.
Take a risk and buy the extreme sandisk sd card and find out for yourself.

Well you are talking about the tablet right? I already found out that it doesn't make much difference on the tablet. This topic was posted at same time I posted other same topic on HP forums. Basically I can close this topic here.

But I still need answer for the HP Stream 11 notebook since that one I don't see anyone know for a fact on. But if someone knows if they tested a higher end SD card vs lower end one on the Stream 11 notebook let me know. Or it might end up that I have to test it since no one else knows. Thank you very much.

That would be your best option right now, pretty much your asking everywhere and not many people have much information.
You could follow through my advice and call hp and get a answer from the technicians or do it yourself and see what works best and what doesn't.
