What sort of temperature should I be comfortable letting my Xeon W3550 get to?

Right now I'm downloading a game from origin, and the temps are getting up to 65C.
The cpu usage during the download is staying at about 65-75%

I've asked different people this before, but I haven't gotten the same answers.
Some people have said that 65C is the max, and some have said that it's safe into the mid-70s.
One guy even said it's okay up to 80C, which seems a bit ridiculous.

I did also replace the thermal paste about a month ago, so that shouldn't be the issue.

Solution
I'd keep it below 80*c but you wont start to do harm till 100*c, motherboard will start to throttle the cpu down in order to keep heat levels in check before that should happen. If the computer cant keep the temps in check it will just shut down to keep it form harming its self.
