Max Temperature AMD Phenom II x4 980 BE

Hey! I want to know how the max temps should be for my CPU under load and idling (windows and bios)

Should be around 70c under load and I'm guessing 30-40 when idling!

Well i'm staying at about 75 (sometimes even running at 78 which is the TJunction point) on load and idling at about 40. Should I be worried and buy a new cooler? Mine is the stock one from an old Athlon 64 x2 +5000 and has 3000RPM. Above it i sticked another fan from an old computer running at 2000RPM (temperatures are lower).I have thermal paste.

You should be fine, however if you can think of a new cpu cooler as a new upgrade! I suggest the 212 EVO, its cheap and well renowned for great cooling!
