I upgraded my cpu and had some trouble so i had to take it out, take off the cooling and such, using the same paste constantly.
I checked the CPU temperature and it was at like 85 degrees.
When the max of the chip is like 72.
So i turned it off right away.
I saw the temperature go up so i knew to turn it off.
It was only on 85 for like a bit, then i turned windows off.
Did this do damage?
It seemed to work fine for the tie being, and it shut off normally, scared to check until i get new paste on it.
