I plan to assemble a computer with specifications: athlon 3000g, 16gb ddr4, psu antec vp,etc. So my question is: can the vega 3 vram contained in the athlon 3000g be increased from 2gb to 4gb?

I'd compare the performance of the 3000G quite carefully to other CPUs, just so you know exactly how slow the 3000G really is in gaming before making that purchase....(in short, the 3400G is typically well over 100% faster in gaming)

To answer your question, it appears the answer is no, as every review I see of the CPU shows but 2 GB of VRAM, allocated from system RAM, regardless of whether 8GB or 16 GB of RAM was used in testing....
