Maximize Game Performance using One 4k monitor and 1 1080p monitor

I am about to add a 4k monitor to my workstation. I will then be using one 4k monitor and one 1080p monitor. My desktop contains two 780 Ti cards. My question is: will I be able to utilize both cards, to game in SLI mode on the 4k display? Or will I need to disable the 1080p monitor in order to use SLI?

no problem there, nvida surround needs 3 monitors to work. just run them both and game ON

Wrong, Nvidia surround with driver 344 and up works with 2 monitors.

Dang, i really don't keep up with nvidia drivers as i have an amd card. as long as he doesn't go full screen. it should be fine.

Dang, i really don't keep up with nvidia drivers as i have an amd card. as long as he doesn't go full screen. it should be fine.

However I noticed that surround is really buggy as is, I tried it on two monitors and it could not properly fill 2 720p monitors, rather the only options were 1080p and up for me.

Maybe I need to clarify; I only want to play the game on one monitor, the 4k monitor. The second one can be doing whatever.
