Maximum Amount Of Monitors on a Single GPU Question

So I've got a GTX 980Ti and i've got three monitors. Haven't actually connected them yet thought of asking for advice before i even make any mistake. So it says on the GTX 980 TI Super Jetstream page that the Max Digital Resolution is 4096x2160 which i'm not really sure if that is the max resolution for one monitor or the total resolution for all monitors. I've got a 3840x1080 and a 2560x1440 monitor. I've already attached my 2k monitor to my GPU so i was wondering would it be okay for me to hook up the 3840x1080 monitor to the GPU as well or would that not work ? The other monitor i have is attached to the Mac Mini so no worries there.

According to this specs sheet; you can connect a maximum of 4 displays to that GPU and your maximum digital resolution is 5120x3200 that is when using dual Display ports. So how are you connecting the GPU to the two monitors?

Well I'll probably be connecting both to the displayport slots ? Hopefully that's right. But why is the maximum resolution different on the Palit site. Which one should i follow the Nvidia or the Palit ? :/
