Maximum bandwidth of PCI Express

I'm struggling to understand and figure out what the maximum bandwidth of PCIEx4, PCIEX8, PCIEX16 are on the GA-z270x - Ultra Gaming motherboard.
Could someone please explain me the differences of each and the maximum bandwidth of them please?
