Maximum CPU temperature?

After attempting to do a little bit of overclocking of my Celeron 566 using the stock Intel fan, I have found the fastest stable clock speed to now be 765 mhz. I am wondering however, what is the maximum temperature that I should letting my CPU get to. For the small improvement in everyday computing, I do not want to spend a small fortune on an improved cooling solution.

So far, the CPU temperature seems to be stable at around 58-59C. Will this damage the CPU?

if this is idle temp it is too hot if is load temp your ok but a little warm sometimes an extra $7 to $10 dollar case fan can make the difference

Yes. Get a better cooler. The FOP32 by Globalwin is one of the best, and it's available for around $15.
