Maximum DVI cable length

Does anyone know the maximum length a DVI cable can be?

Any help is appreciated.

This has been up a while, but here goes....

I don't have a clue, but Extron has this to say about it:

So, roughly 10 meters, tho "distances may vary widely depending on cabling and the specific equipment involved."

Maybe you can buy it spec'd for certain distances....?
