Hi! Could somebody tell me what is the largest HD the K7S5A Pro BIOS (the
latest release) can handle? Thanks.

It can handle any size hard drive you can buy. The terrabyte drives
will work on it just fine.

You should ask the hard drive mfg what system their drives will work
on. That's where the solution/problem lies.

I was thinking about Maxtor drives... I already have one of their 20GB
drives and it works just fine, so they should be compatible. Thanks for your
reply!

I believe it is around 130+ GB.
Wes answered that awhile back.
You could probably go larger if you used the right PCI card.
I'm just guessing here.

I'm using a 120GB Western Digital and a 200GB Hitachi.

All is well.

I have a Seagate Barracuda 160GB with 8MB cache running perfectly with WinXP
SP1 on my K7S5a Pro.
BIOS auto detects it ok.

Martin.
